THE NATIONAL ORDER OF OPTICIANS OF CAMEROON

The National Order of Opticians of Cameroon abbreviated as ONOC.

The Order has a legal personality and its headquarters is located in Yaoundé. It is placed under the supervision of the Minister in charge of Public Health.

All opticians practicing in Cameroon are obliged to be members of the Order.

The Order shall ensure that the principles of morality and dedication essential to the practice of the profession are upheld, that professional obligations are observed, and that the rules laid down in the code of ethics are respected.

The Order ensures the defense of the honor and independence of the profession of Optician. It shall also exercise any functions that may be entrusted to it by this law or by a specific law or by specific texts.

The Order shall carry out its mission and exercise its powers through the following two bodies:

– The General Assembly;

– The Council of the Order.
