OBTAINING/RENEWING AN AUTHORIZATION TO SELL ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT

The conditions to be met are as follows;

Be a natural or legal person whose business consists of importing, exporting, holding with a view to wholesale or retail marketing, on its own behalf or on behalf of a third party, electronic communications equipment and products.

The documents to furnish are as follows;

  • A form, to be collected from the agency, duly completed and stamped at the current rate, addressed to the Director General of L’ART.
  • A copy of the certificate of registration in the Trade and Personal Property Credit Register issued by the clerk of the court of first instance.
  • A certified copy of the tax payer’s card issued by the tax office.
  • List of materials/equipment to commercialize.
  • A location map and any other information specifying the applicant’s contact details, issued by the relevant local tax authorities.
  • The list of potential points of sale, their location map and the relevant certificates etc.

The deadline to sign the authorization is 60 days.
