FACILITIES FOR WORKERS’ PERSONAL USE
DRINKS

Employers must provide sufficient quantities of fresh potable water for
drinking at no charge to employees.
In addition, when workers are habitually subjected to certain working
conditions, temperature, or atmospheric air pollution, employers must
provide them with at least one non-alcoholic beverage, hot or cold,
taking into account the tastes of the employee and the advice of the
company doctor.
The devices or containers used for the storage, distribution and
consumption of water and beverages provided for in the above article
must be maintained in good condition and protected from any
pollution.
A provision in the internal regulations fixes the location of the
distribution stations as well as the modalities of the distribution and the
attribution of the drinks.
It is forbidden to introduce and distribute alcoholic beverages or
alcoholic beverages in the workplace.
