The competent diplomatic mission or consular post grants visas within a maximum period of forty-eight hours from the date of submission of the application.
However, foreigners coming from countries where Cameroon is not represented by a diplomatic or consular post may exceptionally obtain a visa from the border police or immigration post of their place of landing.
In case of refusal of the visa, the applicant shall be notified within 24 hours of the submission of the application, by the competent service, which shall inform the border police directorate.
