GENERAL COMMERCE

GENERAL COMMERCE

General commerce is the exchange of goods and services especially on a large scale. The OHADA Law authorizes any physical or moral person to engage in a commercial activity provided such activity is not against public policy or without the necessary authorization or license as the case may be.

The goods and services may be bought and sold either in the internal market or the international market. The target market will also reflect the procedure to be followed in view of obtaining the required authorization to do business.

General commerce can be the subject of a Sole proprietor business, a Partnership business, an Enterprise, a Limited Liability Company or a Public Limited Company.
